It is a blend of rums of mainly sugar cane honey (90%) and molasses. The rum is distilled in a copper pot still and batch kettle, and matured in used bourbon and sherry casks

Tasting Notes : 

Appearance : Clear, deep bronze amber with bright golden flecks

Nose: Prunes, dates, figs, and sultanas with vanilla, rolling tobacco, blackened fruitcake, coconut macaroon and white pepper.

Palate: Rich and yet dry with lightly bitter wood tannins. Baked overripe banana, died fruit, coconut macaroon, tobacco leaf, chicory.

Finish: Rich dried fruit, vanilla, toasty oak, and black tea tannins with very delicate spice.
