A voluptuous blend of molasses-based, continuous-distilled rums aged in charred American-oak barrels for a minimum of 8 years.
Tasting Notes :
nose: vanilla and caramel, but there is more. Here we have a fresh and bright spicy note next to it, it reminds me of mint or menthol, slightly waxy with caramel, a touch of tobacco, roasted almonds, some sulfur and spices like cardamom or pepper. Then sugar and fresh cane juice and lots of white chocolate. This is really very tasty .
Attack: lots of wax and oily texture.
Taste: Great stuff! Lots of herbs (see nose), quite a bit of esters, cherry bubblegum, lime, milk chocolate, spices (cardamom, pepper, vanilla). Column still par excellence: Nice. The finish is medium long and just right, with a good mix of the flavor elements. It has a very interesting, syrupy, sticky feel, which I personally love !
