Volt Face n°1, is a blend of rums from Guyana and Jamaica (Diamond and Worthy Park), which undergoes a second aging in chestnut casks and Pineau blanc des Charentes casks. Bottled at cask strength 65.3°, Rum Volte Face by Famille Ricci is a rum of exceptional aromatic richness and endowed with great power, resulting in a very nice greasy mouthfeel. Nice and warm, it has a very complex and long finish.

When tasting this old rum, we perceive notes, as well as a  on the finish.
Rum Volt Face by Famille Ricci should be tasted neat, preferably at room temperature.

Tasting Notes:

Appearance: Dark Amber

Nose: mixing honey, roasted coffee and dark chocolate.

Palate:  hint of frangipane, almonds and spices.

Finish: Rich and creamy, with notes from the initial taste toning out gradually
