A 2007 Speyside single malt from indie bottler Signatory Vintage, made at a mystery distillery and matured for 13 years in refill sherry butts before being married and then bottled in June 2020 as part of its Un-Chillfiltered Collection.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Lots of honeyed barley and runny caramel notes, balanced by a robust helping of earthy barley.
Palate: Peaches and cream, walnut loaf, sticky toffee pudding, Sesame Snaps.
Finish: Lingering toffee sweetness on the finish.
