Dark amber rum distilled from fermented molasses, designed to be drunk in cocktails or over ice.
A very fine blend of Barbados rums, aged for five years in bourbon casks in the Caribbean then refined in old French oak casks at Château de Bonbonnet.
Tasting Notes :
Appearance : amber
Nose: Calves leather and caramel. Hints of cinnamon and dried coconut, a little vanilla too.
Palate: sweet palate entry, with molasses and hints of leather to the fore, alongside orange rind and salted butter.
Finish: very sweet on the finish.
