Gin XII is craft distilled from twelve plants and spices in a plate column still, creating a subtle range of aromas. Gin XII owes its name to the twelve plants and spices that go into its creation. It is characterised by fresh, minty, floral, slightly spicy notes and a beautifully lingering finish. A dry gin with a rich, authentic taste, born of a long period of research and reflection. Gin XII takes full advantage of its Haute-Provence terroir and its subtle blend of herbs such as thyme, rosemary, basil, eucalyptus, sweet almond and mint, which join forces with small juniper berries to express the aromatic intensity of a stroll through the garrigue!

The former George T. Stagg distillery was renamed Buffalo Trace when Sazerac took over ownership in 1999. Master Distiller, Elmer T. Lee, came out of retirement for the creation of the Buffalo Trace Bourbon which was released later that same year. The whiskey is comprised of a low-rye mashbill providing for a softer, sweeter expression and is bottled at 90 proof.

Tasting Notes: The aroma is sweet with a hint of alcohol. It gives way to vanilla, Heath candy bars and barrel spices. The palate is very sweet with a mixture of corn, brown sugar, and tobacco. The finish is quick, sweet and full of New Jersey sweet corn.

The origin of the Remedy Spiced Rum in the American Prohibition. During the alcohol ban in the US, this spiced rum was made as medicine in pharmacies.

Remedy Spiced Rum is a blend of several molasses distillates. These come from the Dominican Republic, Trinidad & Tobago and Barbados. Each rum matured for some time in wooden barrels before being mixed with the others. Finally Remedy is enriched with some spices - hence the name Spiced Rum.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: The fragrance of Remedy Spiced Rum is a seductive conglomeration of spicy and sweet aromas. It's not applied too thickly, and you can let every single trace work its magic on you before you go for a full tasting.

Palate: On the palate, Remedy Spiced Rum offers warm taste nuances. The sweet as well as the spicy touches from the nose are taken up here. Herb-fruity orange peels meet soft vanilla and spicy cinnamon as well as a hint of pepper.

A very interesting Japanese blended whisky. This whisky has a rather romantic name, a portmanteau of the words Yama and Sakura. Yama means mountain in Japanese, whilst Sakura is Japanese for cherry tree, so the title of this dram conjures up a peaceful scene of the Japanese landscape, shown on the bottle’s label.

The whisky is not distilled by Sasanokawa, but is a blend of four different malt whiskies, and a little grain to bind them together.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Orange blossom and subtle notes of earthy oak.

Palate: Fresh orchard fruit, salted-caramel-coated biscuit, greengages.

Finish: Medium length, rich in vanilla.
