The Hazelburn 8 Year Old Oloroso Cask Matured 2017/2025 is a limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky from the Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland. Distilled in February 2017 and bottled in March 2025, this expression was matured exclusively in fresh Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 48.2% ABV, with a total release of 10,500 bottles.

Appearance: Natural color

Nose: This whisky offers an inviting nose characterized by sweet cinnamon notes, followed by cocoa, cranberries, and red currants

Palate: it presents mixed berry flavors complemented by hints of strawberry chewing gum, sticky toffee pudding, and blackberries.

Finish: marked by a pleasant nuttiness with notes of hazelnut and walnut

The Springbank 12 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 27 is a highly anticipated release from the iconic Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland. Bottled at 55.9% ABV, this batch continues the tradition of showcasing Springbank’s robust and complex house style in its most natural form

Tasting Notes:

Appearance: non-chill filtered and natural color

Nose: Rich and full, with dried fruits, sea salt, vanilla, leather, and earthy peat smoke. Notes of orange peel and ginger.

Palate: Oily and mouth-coating. Expect spice (cinnamon, clove), dark chocolate, briny coastal notes, and hints of tropical fruit if rum casks are included.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering smoke, oak, and salted caramel.

Notes de dégustation: 

Œil : Robe or pâle aux reflets verts.

Nez : Arômes d’agrumes (citron, pamplemousse), de pomme verte, de fleurs blanches, accompagnés de touches minérales (pierre à fusil) et légèrement toastées.

Bouche : Attaque vive, structure droite, bouche tendue avec une belle énergie. Finale saline et persistante. 

Le domaine: Le domaine Chanson est l’un des plus anciens domaines viticoles de Bourgogne.

Installé à Beaune, il se déploie dans les caves d’un bastion, ancienne tour des remparts de la ville.

Fondé en 1750, il est depuis 1999 propriété du groupe Champagne Bollinger.

Le vignoble du domaine Chanson s’étend sur 45 hectares situés sur les crus de référence de la Côte de Nuits et de la Côte de Beaune, uniquement sur des parcelles de Premiers Crus et Grands Crus. Pour faire face à la demande, le domaine s’approvisionne également auprès de producteurs de raisins de la région.

Classiques et riches, concentrés et amples, les vins de la maison Chanson se distinguent par une structure équilibrée et élégante ainsi qu’une texture tendre et profonde.
