Tasting Notes :

Appearance: brilliant amber color

Nose: On the nose, the aromatic intensity of tropical fruit immediately stands out, with passion fruit being the dominant aroma. This gives it a fresh, lively, and inviting scent.

Palate:  explosive burst of tropical sweetness with a rich, juicy, and tangy character. Smooth texture, with a touch of oak and a hint of vanilla adding complexity.

Finish: medium-long, with a lingering fruity sweetness and a soft warmth from the alcohol. Pleasant, slightly tart aftertaste.

A smooth yet complex, single estate rum. Made from fresh cane grown on the estate, it is distilled in a coffey still that is nestled amongst the cane fields to ensure maximum freshness of ingredients. Our VSOP rum is aged exclusively in slow-toasted, french oak cognac casks for a richness and depth that must be sipped to be believed.

Tasting Notes :

Appearance: deep amber color, with golden highlights

Nose : complex blend of rich, toasted oak and spices, hints of vanilla, caramel, and dark fruit. A subtle hint of tobacco and smoky notes may also be perceived.

Palate :  smooth and full-bodied, with the sweetness of caramel and butterscotch first making an appearance, followed by the warmth of oak and spices. Slight dark chocolate or coffee undertone.

Finish: long and warm, with the oak and spices lingering, leaving behind a smooth, dry aftertaste.

Notes de dégustation :

Œil : couleur jaune pâle, brillante, avec des reflets dorés

Nez : floral et fruité, avec des arômes de pomme verte, de poire, accompagnés de notes citronnées et de fleurs blanches. Touches légèrement minérales.

Bouche : le vin est frais, légèrement crémeux avec une belle acidité qui lui donne une grande vivacité. Bel équilibre entre la richesse et la fraîcheur.

Le domaine : Le domaine familial est situé au cœur de la Bourgogne en côte Chalonnaise à 30 km au sud de Beaune. Ses origines remontent au 17ème siècle. Il fut développé par Michel SARRAZIN qui prit la suite de ses parents en 1964 et débuta la mise en bouteille au domaine. 

Ses deux fils Guy et Jean-Yves l'ont rejoint en 1986 et 1992.

Aujourd'hui, le domaine s’étend sur 35 ha dans les appellations Bourgogne Aligoté, Bourgogne Rouge et Côte Chalonnaise, Bourgogne Rosé, Crémant de Bourgogne, Givry Rouge et Blanc, Givry 1er Cru Rouge et Blanc et Maranges Côte de Beaune Rouge et Blanc et Mercurey rouge.

Toutes ces appellations sont issues de Pinot Noir pour les rouges et Chardonnay, Aligoté pour les blancs.

L'ensemble de la production est mis en bouteille dans les caves du domaine.
