Tasting Notes :

Appearance: brilliant amber color

Nose: On the nose, the aromatic intensity of tropical fruit immediately stands out, with passion fruit being the dominant aroma. This gives it a fresh, lively, and inviting scent.

Palate:  explosive burst of tropical sweetness with a rich, juicy, and tangy character. Smooth texture, with a touch of oak and a hint of vanilla adding complexity.

Finish: medium-long, with a lingering fruity sweetness and a soft warmth from the alcohol. Pleasant, slightly tart aftertaste.

A smooth yet complex, single estate rum. Made from fresh cane grown on the estate, it is distilled in a coffey still that is nestled amongst the cane fields to ensure maximum freshness of ingredients. Our VSOP rum is aged exclusively in slow-toasted, french oak cognac casks for a richness and depth that must be sipped to be believed.

Tasting Notes :

Appearance: deep amber color, with golden highlights

Nose : complex blend of rich, toasted oak and spices, hints of vanilla, caramel, and dark fruit. A subtle hint of tobacco and smoky notes may also be perceived.

Palate :  smooth and full-bodied, with the sweetness of caramel and butterscotch first making an appearance, followed by the warmth of oak and spices. Slight dark chocolate or coffee undertone.

Finish: long and warm, with the oak and spices lingering, leaving behind a smooth, dry aftertaste.

Proefnotitie :

Uiterlijk : heldere, goudgele kleur

Neus : fris en fruitig, met tonen van citrusvruchten zoals citroen en grapefruit, gemengd met witte bloemen en een lichte mineraliteit

Smaak : levendig en romig, met een mooie zuurgraad die de wijn een verfrissende structuur geeft

Het Huis : Het familiedomein is gelegen in het hart van de Bourgogne, in de Côte Chalonnaise, op 30 km ten zuiden van Beaune. De oorsprong dateert uit de 17e eeuw. Het werd ontwikkeld door Michel SARRAZIN, die in 1964 het domein van zijn ouders overnam en begon met het bottelen op het domein. Zijn twee zonen, Guy en Jean-Yves, voegden zich bij hem in 1986 en 1992.

Vandaag omvat het domein 35 ha met de appellations Bourgogne Aligoté, Bourgogne Rouge en Côte Chalonnaise, Bourgogne Rosé, Crémant de Bourgogne, Givry Rouge en Blanc, Givry 1er Cru Rouge en Blanc, Maranges Côte de Beaune Rouge en Blanc en Mercurey Rouge. Al deze appellations worden gemaakt van Pinot Noir voor de rode wijnen en Chardonnay en Aligoté voor de witte wijnen. De volledige productie wordt gebotteld in de kelders van het domein.

 Aperitief, visgerechten, gevogelte, salades met groenten van het seizoen, kazen.
